Saudi Arabia is located on the Arabian peninsula and is surrounded by water on both sides to the right and to the left. Saudi Arabia's terrain is mostly sandy desert which leaves it mostly uninhabited. Saudi Arabia contains the largest continuous sand desert called the Rub Al- Khali. It also bears natural resources of petroleum, natural gas, iron and other useful resources to the country; its oil region lies mostly on the eastern part of the country near the Persian Gulf.
